Remember Reb Zusha? Reb Zusha, the bachur who fled the Nazis and joined the Bielski Unit, a Jewish partisan group that lived in the forest and saved Jews from the ghetto and the Nazis?
At the end of the last book, we left Zusha and his partisan friends in the forest, under a ground and air attack by the Germans. We were left in suspense.
What happened to the partisan group? How would Reb Zusha be saved this time?
Of course, Reb Zusha was saved, but it wasn't simple.
