Originally from New York, Rabbi Yitzchak Botton is the author of the weekly column, “Prayer Essentials,” for Ohr Somayach’s Torah Weekly Ohrnet, and a rebbe in Ohr Somayach, where he gives lectures on various topics including Talmud, halachah, hashkafah, and Jewish mysticism.
