Grisha kept circling us, as if he didn’t trust us. Did he really think that three boys from nowhere could be KGB spies? I smiled at him, but he didn’t smile back. He just looked at me and fat tears slid down his cheeks. 

“Now’s the time!” Alexander whispered to us, “If you want to see something a bit dangerous….come with me!”

“A snowstorm?” Uncle Natan paled. He put his hand on his heart and breathed heavily, “Oh, no!”

It starts with angry flames in the middle of the night, but doesn’t end…Again the magnifying glass leads the Kids from Nowhere through time and space. Shmuly and Yosef Chaim struggle with the cold and fear
