When Ezra Berger masterminds an invention to help wheelchair-bound children, he’s sure he’s the only one. After all, his brother Gideon’s condition inspired his idea, and how many other kids see that need? How many kids have the drive to set an idea down on paper and see it through the planning stages?

As Ezra configures his invention, he encounters the part of himself that doesn’t fully focus. At first, his invention seems brilliant and thrilling to work on, but what happens when his initial excitement wears off?

In Aiming for the Top, Ezra and Shaya play a game of cat and mouse, bumping heads as they each learn how to arrive at “the top” in the best way.
